Studied organ with Martha Dougherty at First UMC for 3 years and continued at Ball State University and Indiana Central University (University of Indianapolis) for 4 years. Is a life member of First UMC being involved in many areas of the church including church music since a small child. Has been serving as church organist at First UMC for the past 13 years.
